PURPOSE:To provide an outboard motor which can keep a combustion air high in density to improve the output performance of an engine, and can suitably protect electrical equipment from sea water and both heat and vibration caused by the engine. CONSTITUTION:An engine 22 is covered by an engine cover 23, and the internal space of the cover 23 is divided into two spaces 53, 53 by a partitioning plate 51, and the engine cover 23 is openedly provided with a combustion air intake port 55 communicating with one side 53 of the spaces and a cooling air intake port 59 communicating with the other side 52 of the spaces, and a cooling air introduced through the cooling air intake port cools an upper engine, and a combustion air introduced through the combustion air intake port is supplied to the engine through the space 53 on one side. |
