<p>PURPOSE:To allow an efficient diagnosis and treatment by forming an opening on the bottom face, and providing a watertight jointing means around the opening in a bolus inserted between an applicator generating ultrasonic waves and a living body at the time of the treatment. CONSTITUTION:A bolus l inserted between an applicator (transducer) 7 and living body in a therapeutic device radiating ultrasonic waves or electromagnetic waves to the treatment target portion of a testee for a thermotherapy or a pulverization therapy is made of urethane rubber or vinyl chloride into a ring- like bellows structure. An opening l is formed on the bottom face of the bolus 1, an adhesive sheet 2 is provided on the lower face of the bottom face 12 around the opening 11, and the bolus 1 is watertightly jointed to the body surface. A preset quantity of the deaerated water 5 from a deaerated water feeding device is injected into the watertightly jointed bolus l, and a treatment is applied while the applicator 7 is dipped in the deaerated water 5.</p> |
