PURPOSE:To provide a cold-storage device which can store food for long periods by the use of low temperature in winter in cold district and with a minimum possible energy loss, by decreasing the pressure loss of a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A cold-storage device is provided with an icemaker and a food storage chamber 12 individually provided, and the icemaker 10 and the storage chamber 12 are connected to each other by a heat exchanger 14 detachably provided therebetween. In the icemaker 10 and the storage chamber 12, an inside thermal insulation 15 is formed, and a drum 18 containing water is housed in the icemaker 10. The heat exchanger 14 has a pair of, not curved and linear, heat exchange pipes 22, 24 communicating between the icemaker 10 and the storage chamber 12 and direct drive typed axial fans 26, 28 respectively attached to these heat exchange pipes 22, 24. Moreover, the diameter of the heat exchange pipes 22, 24 is larger than that of the axial fans 26, 28. |
