PURPOSE:To permit the reduction of the diameter of a duct for air conditioning as mush as possible by a method wherein the inside diameter of the main body of the duct is designed so as to meet a heating load and refrigerant piping is effected together with the duct while the outside of the duct and piping is covered integrally by insulating material. CONSTITUTION:The diameter of the main body 1 of a duct is determined so as to meet a heating load and refrigerant pipelines 2 are constituted of a pair- tube type pipeline, arranged along the main body 1 of the duct. The main body 1 of the duct and the refrigerant pipelines are coated integrally by insulating material 3. In this case, hot-air is sent into a room through an outlet port 11 by the fan 10 of an indoor machine 8 through the inside of the main body 1 of the duct and refrigerant is sent into the heat exchanger 9 of the indoor machine 8 through the inside of the refrigerant pipes 2 to produce cold air by the fan 10 and send it into the room through an outlet port 11. The diameter of the main body 1 of the duct can be reduced without any trouble in such a manner. |
