PURPOSE:To provide a lightweight pipe-shape fiber reinforced plastic structure of high strength not losing lightweight properties, not generating the lowering of mechanical strength and reinforced in its end parts. CONSTITUTION:A fiber reinforced plastic pipe 1 has a fiber reinforced plastic pipe main body 2 and the end part reinforcing parts 4 provided to the inner peripheral surfaces of both end parts of the pipe main body 2 and metal end members 6 having an arbitrary desired shape are provided to both end parts of the pipe 1. Each of the inner end surfaces 4a of the end part reinforcing layers 4 is formed in a state of being inclined so as to become continuously internally large in its inside diameter (D) in the axial direction of the pipe 1.
