<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the intake air flow resistance by decreasing the load required to open an intake check valve arranged on an intake passage communicated with a crank chamber as the lift quantity of a reed valve is increased. CONSTITUTION:A crank chamber 10 is formed at the lower section of the piston 5 of an engine 1, and an intake check valve 13 is arranged on an intake passage 11 communicated with the crank chamber 10. The intake check valve 13 is constituted such that a reed valve 16 made of a magnetic material and a stopper member 17 are fixed to a valve frame body 14 with a bolt 15 and a valve control means 18 made of a permanent magnet is provided on the outside of the stopper member 17. The lift quantity of the reed valve 16 is increased as the intake quantity is increased at the time of high rotation or a high load of the engine 1. The attracting magnetic force of the reed valve 16 by the valve control means 18 is increased, the load required to open the valve 16 is decreased, and the intake air flow resistance is reduced.</p> |
