PURPOSE:To provide stable type quality without environmental limitation in a dot printer using a pulse motor for feeding a type head by generating a type signal with a drive signal of the pulse motor as a standard. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor 1 is driven, and the first type signal 2a is applied from a start signal generator 2 to a type solenoid 3 after the time t1 by the dirving signal 1a in phase A. The signal 2a is applied to a type timing signal generator 4, which thereupon applies type signals 4a2, 4a3... to the solenoid 3 at type timing time t2. Thus, a type head prints dots at every type timing time t2 upon energization of the solenoid 3. When the solenoid 3 is energized seven times energizations 2a, 4a2, 4a3...4a7 forming one carrier, the output from the generator 4 is stopped by an energization times discriminator 5 to stop the operation of the solenoid 3. Then, when the motor 1 is rotated, the type head prints similarly to the above. |
