PURPOSE:To prevent contact of the end part of a lining steel pipe with a fluid in the pipe, and to prevent red water by screwing a mechanical joint and a joint member together, and by providing a cylindrical body that is in close contact with the inner circumferential surface of the end part of the lining steel pipe, on the inner circumferential side of one end part of a joint main body, to which a cap nut is screwed. CONSTITUTION:A cap nut 3 is screwed to a male screw 11 of one end part of a joint main body 1, while a rubber ring 4, a retainer 5 and a through stop ring 6 are fitted in between the one end part of the joint main body 1 and the cap nut 3, to form a mechanical joint A. The inner circumferential surface excluding a female screw provided on the end part of a metal joint 7 is covered with a synthetic resin layer 72, while a cylindrical body 73 is provided, which extends from the synthetic resin layer 72 with a gap large enough to receive the other end part of the joint main body 1, to form a joint member B. A synthetic resin layer 2 is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the other end part on which a small diameter male screw is provided, which is screwed to a female screw of the joint 7 in the joint main body 1, and a cylindrical part 2a is formed on the synthetic resin layer 2 with a gap large enough to receive the end surface of a lining steel pipe 6. |
