PURPOSE:To provide a method for accurately and concurrently measuring a substrate oxidant and a substrate reductant, using a measurement device where immobilized oxidase and dehydrogenase are used. CONSTITUTION:This measurement device uses dehydrogenase for catalyzing reaction to generate a coenzyme oxidant and a substrate reductant from a coenzyme reductant and a substrate oxidant, and oxidase for oxidizing the substrate reductant. In addition, the device has a mechanism for feeding a buffer solution continuously and a feed mechanism for supplying a sample to the solution. Furthermore, the device has a mechanism including immobilized oxidase 4 and the first electrode 5 for detecting an electrode active material to increase or decrease, depending upon oxidase reaction, and another mechanism including immobilized dehydrogenase 6, immobilized oxidase 7, and the second electrode 8 for detecting an electrode active material to increase or decrease, depending upon oxidase reaction, respectively at the downstream side of the feed mechanism. |
