PURPOSE:To provide the sound effect device which has a simple circuit constitution and obtains an excellent ensemble effect including not only the vibrato effect and the chorus effect but also the stereo effect sensing more expanse to signals by allowing the existence of signal having different sound image positions. CONSTITUTION:The sound effect device 1 which converts monaural original sounds to stereo signals to impart the ensemble effect is provided with a modulating means 3 to perform frequency modulation of original sounds, plural signal delay means 4 to 6 which delay the modulated signal modulated by the modulation means 3 by amounts of delay different from each another, and a mixing means 9 which reverses the positive and negative sign of the amplitude level of at least one delay modulated signal among delay modulated signals delayed by signal delay means 4 to 6 and adds the delay modulated signal with amplitude level reversed and the other delay modulated signals to convert the monaural original sounds to stereo signals. |
