<p>PURPOSE:To provide a simple means for insulating a main circuit enclosure from a grounding device enclosure and further connecting them together in a gas insulated earthing switch. CONSTITUTION:An insulating ring 51 is placed between a flange 2 of a main circuit enclosure and that 5 of a grounding device enclosure. The insulating ring 51 has tapped filler metals 52 and 52 integrally cast. The filler metal 52 to be in contact with the flange 2 of the main circuit case is independent of that 53 to be in contact with the flange 5 of the grounding device enclosure. The flange 2 of the main circuit enclosure is fixed to the filler metal 52 in the insulating ring 51 using a bolt 54; the flange 5 of the grounding device enclosure is fixed to the filler metal 53 using a bolt 54. These filler metals 52 and 53 need not to be positioned in opposition to each other; their positions may be shifted from each other.</p> |
