<p>PURPOSE:To uniform flow rates in branch pipes into which a main pipe is branched at plural places on its pipe wall in the axial direction by providing the inner pipe wall of the main pipe with a projection which is slightly from the most upstream branched place and projected inward from the specified place opposite each branched place on the inner pipe wall. CONSTITUTION:A projection 5 is formed on a portion on a specified portion of a wall of a main pipe, that is, on an upstream of a branched portion of a branch pipe 2 which is slightly upstream from the most upstream branch pipe, opposite the branched places of the pipes 2, 3, 4. The projection 5 has a flat projection edge 5a whose surface is formed perpendicularly to an axis of a main pipe 1. In case that the projection is formed on a specified place of the wall of the main pipe, fluid flowing into a pipe passage 1a of the main pipe 1 is inclined by the projection 5, and forcibly deflected so as to approach the branched places of the branch pipes. As a result, a flow rate is increased in a pipe passage 2a, while deflection of the fluid to a pipe passage 4a is suppressed for decreasing the flow rate. Thus, flow rates are uniformed in the branched pipes.</p> |
