<p>PURPOSE:To provide a pipe of excellent flexibility although its flat pressure proof strength is improved by utilizing a reinforcing band plate made of thin metal plate. CONSTITUTION:A pipe wall is formed into double-pitch-like helical projecting and recessed wave form, and a band plate 6 made of thin metal plate which is continued in a ream extending over the peak part 2 of alternate mountains A and both side wall parts 3, 4 continued on both sides of it, or the valley part 5 of alternate valleys C and both side wall parts 4, 3 continued on both sides of it, and formed into nearly inverse U-shaped cross section or nearly U-shaped cross section, is coated with synthetic resin or the like leaving both the faces or a part of the inner face side. The mountain A provided with the metallic band plate 6 and a mountain B without said metallic band plate, or the valley C provided with the metallic band plate 6 and a valley D without said metallic band plate, are formed in alternately connected one body.</p> |
