RING ACCESS DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To realize efficient data transfer in the ring access device employing an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode). CONSTITUTION:A cell reception transfer section 203, a cell transmission transfer section 208, a cell relay section 205 send/receive a cell on a ring network under the control of a ring access control section 205. The ring access control section 205 activates a cell and sends it while data are superimposed thereon when data to be sent are in existence even if a received cell is idle and a token is aborted in addition till cells reach a predetermined cell number.
