PURPOSE: To obtain a printing device suitable for printing an original with at least two different kinds of colors. CONSTITUTION: Two electrostatic latent images are recorded on a photoconductive member 10. Either latent image is a latent image in an electrification area and the other is a latent image in a discharge area. The latent image in the electrification area is developed with black toner particles by a magnetic developer unit 30. The latent image in the discharge area is developed with color toner particles other than black by a non-magnetic developer unit 100. The toner particles of two latent images are nearly simultaneously transferred and fixed on a sheet so as to form a highlight color document.
