CABLE PENETRATION DEVICE FOR NUCLEAR REACTOR CONTAINER

PURPOSE:To provide the optical fiber cable penetration device of a nuclear reactor container which is less deteriorated with lapse of time and has the high resistance to withstand heat cycles and has high reliability. CONSTITUTION:This optical fiber cable penetration device is constituted of a cylindrical outside cylinder 18 mounted to the position where optical fiber cables penetrate the wall part segmenting the inside and outside of the container, a partition plate 16 which is fixed to the inner periphery of the outside cylinder 18 and partitions the inside and outside of the container, optical rods 15 which are formed to a rigid rod shape to increase the thickness of the clads of the optical fibers and penetrate the partition plate 16 to form the parts penetrating the outside cylinder of the optical fiber cables 20 and a sealing member 17 which hermetically seals the penetrating spacing between the optical rods 15 and the partition plate 16.
