PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner in which removing operation of a cross flow fan is facilitated without fear of dropping the fan. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner has a cross flow fan 2 in a ventilating passage in a housing 5, and a heat exchanger 1, and comprises a side plate 54 of a casing for constituting the ventilating passage which has a board 54a and a mounting plate 54b combined with the board to support a bearing from its front. Thus, since the fan is not removed until the plate 54b is removed from the board 54a, a fear of dropping the fan 2 is reduced. Further, when the plate 54b is removed from the board, a rotary shaft of the fan 2 is removed from the plate 54, and hence removing operation of the fan 2 is facilitated. |
