PURPOSE:To make it possible to remotely control a television(TV) image receiver from a slave set of a cordless telephone system and to improve the handleability of the cordless telephone system. CONSTITUTION:The cordless telephone system is provided with a master set 10 connected to a telephone line LN and a slave set 20 connected to the master set 10 through a radio line. A circuit for forming a signal for controlling an external TV image receiver 50 and a light emitting element for supplying the signal to the TV image receiver 50 are provided in the slave set 20. Information relating to the slave set 20 is transmitted to the TV image receiver 50 through the light emitting element. |
