PURPOSE:To prevent the destruction of recorded information due to the intrusion of a spot having a recording power to other track by interrupting the recording of the information by a beam with the output of an out-of-track signal. CONSTITUTION:A gate circuit 40 is controlled by using the output of an out-of- track detection circuit 13 and no recording signal 2 is made so as to appear in the output signal 3 of the gate circuit 40 unconditionally. Simultaneously, the out-of-track signal 9 is supplied to a controller 1 and the controller is informed of that the circuit 40 is closed. The controller 1 executes error restorative operation by the signal 9. In the processing, recording data is recorded again on other place in the breakpoint unit of the data. Further, by the detection circuit 13, a track deviation signal 11 indicating the deviation between a track center and a spot center is generated based on a regenerative information signal detected by a reproducing optical system 6. |
