The plane expanding method of a motion factor includes the steps of: windowing a first motion factor to be plane expanded and peripheral first motion factors; providing add values of the peripheral first motion factors in proportion to the correlation of the add value of the first motion factor to be expanded; obtaining the sum of the first motion factors; and comparing the sum with a predetermined threshold value to generate a final motion factor, thereby minimizing false detection of the motion factor.
