PURPOSE: To obtain a nuclear fuel of mixed oxide containing plutonium by selecting the solution containing plutonium, precipitating plutonium-oxide particles from the solution, and forming the mixture containing the plutonium oxide and uranium-oxide particles. CONSTITUTION: A solution containing plutonium is selected. The composition of the plutonium isomer of the liquid is determined. The pluronium-oxide particles are precipitated from this solution. The mixture containing the plutonium oxide and the uranium-oxide partices is formed. The nuclear-fuel compressed body is formed from the mixture. Then, the quantity of the plutonium in the mixture is controlled in accordance with the expression. In the expression, f238 , f239 , f240 , f241 and f242 express the absolute perturbation values in the isomer tractions of Pu<238> , Pu<239> , Pu<240> , P<241> and Pu<242> , respectively. In the expression, f235 expresses the absolute perturbation value of U<235> , and fAm expresses the absolute perturbation value of Am<241> . Allαhave the positive values and are the factors with regard to the life-average responsive partial derivatives for the individual fluctuations.
