PURPOSE:To provide sensibility for phosphate ion in a solution by allowing an ion sensitive film to carry an ion sensitive substance consisting of a specific copper complex. CONSTITUTION:An ion sensitive substance concerned consists of a copper complex whose ligand is at least one sort of chain or ring diamine and beta-diketonate ion. The chain or ring diamine is selected from N,N-dialkylethylenediamine, N,N,N'-trialkylethylenediamine, etc., while the beta-diketonate ion may be any corresponding anion of acetylacetone, benzoilacetone, or any other beta-diketones. The resultant ion sensitive film which holds the described ion sensitive substance dispersedly, may be embodied in different structures. For example, it is prepared by dissolving or dispersing the copper complex as the ion sensitive substance in a plasticizer and carrying it with polyvinyl chloride as a carrier. Thus a phosphate ion sensor is obtained excellent in the reproducibility and responsiveness. |
