PURPOSE:To provide the recommended route display device easily confirming the information on the recommended route and enabling the safety driving. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a route searching section 211 searching the recommended route between two points set on a road map, map information reading section 212 reading out something correspondent in the specific point or between points based on the map information on the searched recommended route, and a display control section 24 displaying the map information by means of characters on a display section 4 along the route of the recommended route. Further it is provided with an arithmetic operation section 213 calculating the distance or direction between the specific points on the recommended route, and at the same time displaying the distance and direction. Thus, the information of the recommended route can be confirmed without the troublesome operation, enabling the safety driving. |
