A device is provided for collecting toxic waste from individuals and small companies without any risk of leakage. It comprises a main collection container (1) with a door (2), two orifices (6) for depositing waste (3) and two belt conveyors (4) to move the waste away from the orifices. Said belt conveyors are operated either manually by the person depositing the waste or automatically by means of an electric system. One or more additional containers are used to enable waste to be presorted.
