The device is mounted on a chassis (1), which is carried by two wheels, it has a towing attachment point (16) at the front. Two discs (3), which are mounted below the chassis at the front, are designed to open up two grooves (4) in the soil to receive the edges of the plastics film (6). At the rear of the chassis are the plough shares (7), which are added to return the soil and to bury the edges of the film. The two main wheels (2) are carried by a device (18), which allows the wheels to be adjusted for inclination and for toe-in. Two locking wheels (10) and two free wheels (9) are used to guide and drive the film as it is unrolled. USE/ADVANTAGE - It allows precise positioning of the film on the soil, it has a low manufacturing cost and is simple to operate.
