PURPOSE: To form an optical-signal distributing system for determining the multilayered paths of an optical waveguide without a space on a substrate by providing an electronic substrate having a main surface with an optical element and the optical waveguide, which can pass optical signals to the optical element, and is different from the electronic substrate. CONSTITUTION: A system 1 has an electronic substrate 2 and a main surface 3. An optical element is provided on the system. The system 1 has one optical waveguide 5, which is located on the electronic substrate 2 but is different from the substrate 2, in order to pass optical signals to an optical element 4. The optical waveguide 5 is directly attached to the substrate 2 as a decalcomania by a preform, which is formed unrelated to the substrate 2. The upper part of an integrated circuit chip 20 is arranged in parallel (4a) with the main surface 3 of the substrate 2. A reflecting surface 8 is formed on a waveguide 5a and arranged directly below an optical element 4a. Thus, light passes between the optical element 4a and the waveguide 5a. |
