<p>PURPOSE:To provide a color toner excellent in spectral reflecting characteristics, spectral transmitting characteristics, electrostatic chargeability, etc., giving a clear color image and capable of satisfactory full-color development over a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:This color toner contains a bonding resin based on polyester resin, a zinc salicylate compd. as a negative charge controlling agent and a colorant. The polyester resin is obtd. by bringing a diol component represented by the formula [where R is lower alkylene, each of (x) and (y) is an integer of >=1 and the mean value of x+y is 2-7] and carboxylic acid, acid anhydride thereof, lower alkyl ester thereof or polyol into co-condensation polymn.</p> |
