<p>PURPOSE:To improve offset resistance by using a binder resin component of toner made by containing a specific polyester resin in a specific compound and containing a specific fluorine contained quaternary ammonium chloride as a polarity controlling agent component. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin of the toner is a polyester resin by condensation polymerizing a diol component expressed by a formula I and an acidic component containing 1-50mol% 2-valent carboxylic acid expressed by a formula II or its anhydride and 10-30mol% trimellitic acid or its anhydride in a compound selected from >=2-valent polycarboxylic acid, its anhydride and its lower alkyl ester and furthermore the fluorine contained quaternary ammonium chloride expressed by a formula III is incorporated as the polarity controlling agent. In the formula I, R<1> is 2-4C alkylene group, each of X and Y is a positive integer and the average value of the sum is 2-16. In the formula II, R<2> is 4-20C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, R<3> is 4-20C hydrocarbon group.</p> |
