PURPOSE:To expedite starting by setting a field coil current to a power drive motor by a microcomputer when a brake switch is continuously depressed for a predetermined time or longer at the time of zero of a motor speed, holding the motor speed at zero by flowing a motor current when the switch is opened, and controlling the power drive when an accelerator pedal is depressed. CONSTITUTION:When a brake switch is continuously depressed for a predetermined time or longer at the time of zero of a speed of a motor 8, a microcomputer 22 of a control circuit 20 detects it. The microcomputer 22 supplies a current from a diode bridge 18 to a field coil 19 having a shunt-wound coil of the motor 8, and sets the coil 19 to a power drive mode. When the switch is opened, the microcomputer 22 detects it to supply a small current to an armature 9 of the motor 8, thereby holding the speed of the motor 8 at zero. Then, when an accelerator pedal is depressed, an armature current responsive to the depressed amount of the pedal is fed to the armature 9 of the motor 8. Thus, even from the midway of a slope, it can be rapidly started without retracting. |
