CONTROLLER FOR MOTOR DRIVEN VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To prevent an inadvertent switch-back traveling of a motor driven vehicle by a simple operation in a controller for the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A rotation sensor 7 detects rotating speed and direction of a motor 3. A forward/reverse command lever 6 instructs any of forward, reverse rotations and stop of the motor 3. A control circuit 4 compares a rotating direction of the motor 3 detected by the sensor 7 with that of the motor 3 to be instructed by the lever 6, and performs power driving of the motor when both the directions coincide. Further, the circuit 4 electrically brakes the motor 3 until both the direction coincide when both the directions are different, and stops the motor 3 when both the directions coincide. The circuit 4 rotates the motor 3 in a newly instructed direction when it newly instructs forward or reverse rotation of the motor 3 from when the lever 6 once instructs the stop of the motor 3 after the motor is stopped.
