<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a special slit member and to reduce the number of parts to simplify constitution of a xerographic device by forming a specific slit opening through a guide member for regulating a copying paper feeding passage. CONSTITUTION:A slit opening 106 for regulating light projected onto the surface of a photoreceptor 186 from a lamp 28 for illuminating a document 10 to be copied is formed through a guide member 104 for regulating a copying paper feeding passage 50. The guide member 104 uses the slit opening 106 formed therethrough to regulate the light projected onto the surface of the photoreceptor 186 from the lamp 28 when an image is formed on the surface of the photoreceptor 186. When the image formed on the surface of the photoreceptor 186 is transferred onto copying paper the guide member 104 guides the copying paper being fed; i.e., the guide member 104 serves also as a slit member, so eliminating the need for a special slit member.</p> |
