<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic toner compsn. adaptable to a high- speed copying machine and a low-heat fixing copying machine, fixable with a low quantity of heat and excellent in electrostatic chargeability. CONSTITUTION:An ethylenic polymer having <=50,000 wt. average mol. wt. is obtd. using 1-30wt.% multifunctional ethylenic monomer and 30-90 pts.wt. of this polymer is mixed with 70-10 pts.wt. ethylenic unsatd. monomer, 0.01-5 pts.wt. polymn. initiator and 0.05-2 pts.wt. multifunctional ethylenic monomer. This mixture is dispersed in a water system and polymerized and the objective electrophotographic toner compsn. contg. the resulting ethylenic polymer as the principal constituent is provided.</p> |
