<p>PURPOSE: To simplify the circuit configuration by using two 1H (one horizontal period) delay elements so as to correct color separation and contour correction. CONSTITUTION: An input signal IN received from a CCD image sensor and converted into a digital signal is given to a 1H delay means 1 and an adder means 3. The color signal is delayed by 1H at the 1H delay means 1 and given to a 1H delay means 2, where the signal is delayed further by 1H. The adder means 3 adds the received color signal and a color signal outputted from the 1H delay means 2 and an amplifier means 4 decreases a level of the color signals added by the adder means 3 to 1/2. Then the resulting color signal from which noise is eliminated by the adder means 3 and the amplifier 4 is given to a contour correction means 10 and a color signal separation means 30. Furthermore, the color signal resulting from the input signal IN delayed by 1H at the 1H delay means 1 is given to the means 10, 30, and the contour correction means 10 uses the color signal outputted from the amplifier means 4 and the 1H delay means 1 to produce vertical and horizontal contour correction signals.</p> |
