LASER OSCILLATION UNIT AND LASER DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a laser oscillation unit in which arcing and heating of the contact resistance at the connection between a lamp electrode and a power cable by eliminating the need of means for leading the lamp electrode outside. CONSTITUTION:A laser oscillation unit includes a laser rod 10; pumping lamps 11 for exciting the laser rod 10; electrodes 12 extending from the ends of the pumping lamps and connected to an external power source; and a cooling case 16 that houses the laser rod, lamps and the associated parts and defines a space in which pure water is circulated. The case 16 confines the pumping lamps and their electrodes within the cooling space.
