PURPOSE:To produce a high speed pulse of a large current suitable for driving an ultrasonic transducer. CONSTITUTION:A switching circuit consisting of a combination of a PNP transistor TR Q1 with an NPN TR Q2 which works in a non-saturated area is used as a basic circuit. The basic circuits are connected in series in order to improve breakdown voltage value of the switching circuit. Meanwhile the TRs of the same kind are connected in parallel to either or both of the TR Q1 and Q2, and a balance resistor is added to the emitter circuit of each TR. By letting the current value in each circuit be balanced the value of the flowing current in the switching circuit is increased. |
