PURPOSE:To provide a driver for piezoelectric actuator, which expands and contracts upon application of voltage and employed in a fuel injection valve or the like, in which high frequency vibration and noise are suppressed without sacrifice of response of the piezoelectric actuator. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric actuator driver 10 comprising a piezoelectric actuator 2 to be applied with a voltage for controlling expansion and contraction thereof is provided with a series circuit of a coil element 107 and a capacitor 108 connected between positive and negative terminals of the piezoelectric actuator 2. Electrical resonance frequency of a closed loop comprising the piezoelectric actuator 2, the coil element 107, and the capacitor element 108 is set equal to the mechanical oscillation frequency at the time of driving the piezoelectric actuator. |
