The toothbrush has a disposable head (3) which has bristles and contains toothpaste (6). These are covered by a transparent cap (7) which is airtight and is removed by pulling a tongue (7') upwards. The head is screwed on to the end of a reusable handle. A button (2'), on the back of the head, is pressed by a finger to move a flexible plate (2) which pushes the toothpaste to the top of the bristles. The plate locks in a compartment in the head. The head is unscrewed from the handle after use. ADVANTAGE-The head of brush includes a plastics cap which helps to seal the toothpaste and prevents it from drying.
