<p>A simplified process is disclosed for making form fitting undergarments that include structures for absorbing (13) and containing body exudates. The garments are formed by selectively cutting (14, 15) and seaming (17, 18) sheets (8) having parallel elastic strands into trapezoidal or rectangular geometries so that the finished garmet when stretched in the waist at least 70 % contracts in the perpendicular direction at 20 %.</p> |
