<p>A human low-molecular pro-urokinase-like polypeptide produced by bonding an oligopeptide, represented by the following formula, which forms a covalent bond with a thrombus by the enzymatic action of human blood coagulation factor XIII:(Met.)Gln.Glu.Gln.Val.Ser.Pro.Leu.Thr.Leu.Leu.Lys. (Met.)Gln.Glu.Gln.Val.Ser.Pro.Leu.Thr.Leu.Leu.Glu. to the N-terminal side of the polypeptide portion composed of 144-leucine through 411-leucine in the whole amino acid sequence of natural human pro-urokinase. This polypeptide has high thrombus specificity and thrombolytic activity, excellent thrombus infiltrating activity, and a long in vivo half-life, thus being excellent as a thrombolytic agent.</p> |
