PURPOSE:To report an alarm time with a melody sound by frequency-dividing prescribed frequency division outputs on a basis of musical scale and rhythm data, which are stored in a memory, to generate the melody sound having prescribed musical scale and note length. CONSTITUTION:When an unlocking switch is turned on at an alarm time, the prescribed-stage frequency division output is divided according to musical scale data, which is stored in memory 3, by musical scale programmable divider 4 to generate a prescribed melody musical scale sound signal. Similarly, the rhythm frequency signal for note length corresponding to rhythm data of memory 3 is generated from rhythm programmable divider 5, and note length of the generated musical scale sound signal is controlled to a prescribed length. This rhythm frequency signal is counted by segment counter 6, and the counter 6 generates a segment pulse for every segment of each musical scale sound, and step counter 17 is increased by +1 to access memory 3. Then, prescribed note data for the next musical scale sound is read from memory 3, and note length of the musical scale sound of the next segment is controlled similarly, thus reporting the alarm time with a musical melody sound. |
