Current feeding appts. has at least 2 pipe sections, between which is a connecting device on an intermediate temp. level between room and low temp.. The low temp.-side section contains parts made of a metal oxide superconducting material with transition temp. above the boiling temp. of liq. N2. The novelty is that the room temp.-side section (A1,A1') contains a vacuum vessel (15) contg. a liq. N2 container in the vacuum space (23). Only the pipe parts (21) of the room temp. section (A1,A') connected to the connecting device (V,V') are in direct heat contact with the liq. N2 container. The vacuum vessel (15) contains a tubular sleeve of normal- conducting material provided as a current-feeding part (17,17') of the room temp.-side section (A1,A1'). The part (17,17') is cooled using N2 waste gas withdrawn from the liq. N2 container (24,24'). The sleeve is surrounded by electrical insulation (18).
