In the slaughtering line of a slaughterhouse, for large animals such as cattle and pigs, a counter unit or equivalent is between and below two movement paths (3), supported at a base (7) and a conveyor (39). Positioning frames (31,32) are supported at the base (7) over the paths (3), each with swing axes (20-23) for the drive and transmissions (24-30). Swivel links are at the swing axes (20-23), with swing frames (8-11) with tool holders (12-15) or divided frames with holders. Couplings and brakes, with path movement monitors are between the positioning frames (31,32) and the swivel links. Buffers (33,34) and buffer frames (35) are at the swing frames (8-11) or near the counter cutting unit, at the same level in the working position of the swing frames (8-11). The brake limits are placed with the brakes, with couplings or locks and have setting and path movement length monitors. The counter cutting system can also be fitted to the swing frames (8-11). USE/ADVANTAGE - The slaughtering line is in a slaughterhouse for large animals, such as cattle and pigs. The system gives a simple construction, with reduced manual effort required in splitting the carcasses. It gives reduced energy consumption, and less oscillation at the moving parts within a reduced space. It increases the throughput by at least twice, compared with existing assemblies, and even quadruples the carcass division into two parts in a given time cycle.
