<p>A flush regulator (10) selectively operable in a partial flush mode or a full flush mode for use with a water closet (12) including a water storage tank (14) having a buoyant flapper valve (34) movable between open and closed positions by a flush handle (46) movable between first and second positions to selectively control the flow of water from the tank (14), the flush regulator (10) comprising a buoyant flush member (54) movably disposed within the tank (14) such that when the flush handle (46) is moved from the first to the second position and released the flush member (54) engages the flapper valve (34) to force it to prematurely close to operate in the partial flush mode and when the flush handle (46) is held in the second position the flapper valve (34) is held open to operate in the full flush mode.</p> |
