The shoe sole is round and has the thickest part at right angles to the ankle and the thinnest part at the toes. Underneath the toe joints, the sole incorporates an elastic hinged part (1). Hollow cavities (2) in the sole form crosspieces (3) and ducts (4) in which are reinforcements (5), preferably in the lower edge part of the sole and covering all or part of the sole's tread surface. The hollow cavities contain air and/or gas filled compartments. ADVANTAGE - The shoe enables the wearer to walk or run more rapidly and to be comfortable to wear by having a round shape.
