RECORDING APPARATUS IN WHICH PLURAL RECORDING MEDIA CAN BE LOADED

A plurality of recording medium drives such as a 5.25-inch floppy disk drive (1) and a 3.5-inch floppy disk drive (2) are provided in a front bezel (3) of the captioned apparatus. The drive (2) is connected in advance with the drive (1) through a flat cable (10) in the apparatus. To the host side, only the drive (1) is connected. Therefore, it is unnecessary to individually connect the recording medium drives through cables. Further, the drive (1) to which the flat cable is connected has an additional function of setting signals for the selection of each drive. The drive (1) can be used as an output buffer for the other drive.
