<p>A method for forming an assembly which comprises a hollow body of a ceramic material having an aperture which is closed by a closure consisting of another body of the same or another ceramic material, said method being characterised in that it comprises the steps of: positioning the closure over or within the aperture of the hollow body; partially evacuating the hollow body; and heating the assembly of the bodies to thereby weld the bodies together.</p> |
