The electrical window system has motors (MF, MB), each having associated relays (2) with inputs to the coils from power transistors (3). The motor inputs are provided by a toggle switch (5, 17) with a neutral centre position. Outputs from the switch contacts are received by OR gate logic (8, 15, 21, 26) and by flip flops (10, 22). Each window may be individually opened and closed using the toggle switch. Limit switches (13, 24) cut off the actuation signals when the closed position is reached. One switch (5) can be moved to a position (27) to generate a common signal (7) for simultaneous closure of all windows. ADVANTAGE - No extra control functions required.
