PURPOSE:To form a clear image having no color mixture all the time by providing a roller coated with a frictional electrostatic charging layer for reducing the polarity inversion of toner or amount of charges nearby the developing roller of the 2nd or succeeding developing device. CONSTITUTION:The mixed toner separation roller 44 coated with the frictional electrostatic charging layer 44c is arranged nearby the developing roller 42 of the 2nd developing device 41 of the dichroic recording device. The order of the frictional electrostatic charging sequence of the frictional charging layer 44c is determined between red toner 32 and black toner 34. In this constitution, if the red toner 32 from a precedent stage enters the 2nd developing device 41, only the red tonr 32 is inverted in polarity by the separation roller 44 owing to a difference in frictional electrostatic charging sequency and combines with the black toner 34 electrostatically, but the amont of charges is reduced and the red toner is separated and removed by the separation roller 44 and stored at the bottom part. Consequently, clear mages having no color mixture are formed for a long period. |
