<p>The procedure consists of pushing the end of the sealing strip (1) forwards towards the point at which the container (21) enters a recess in the edge of the turntable (19) situated beneath the thermal sealing head (26). The advancing container engages with and lifts the strip as it leaves the end of the strip dispenser (6), which is equipped with cutting blades (13,14) to detach the section of the strip as the thermal head seals it. The sealing strip is advanced by means of a roller (9) with projections (11) to engage with holes in the strip.</p> |
