METHOD OF INTENSIFYING OPERATION OF A SYSTEM OF BLAST AIR HEATERS FOR A BLAST FURNACE AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING SAME

In the course of heating of the air heaters to operational temperature the maximum combustion gas pressure is maintained in the inner space of the heated air heaters (1) in range of 80 to 95 % of the entry pressure level of the combustion media, which is consequently consumed by expansion for covering pressure loss when using the waste heat of the combustion gasses by recuperation. The essence of the apparatus is that joined at each output of an individual air heater (1) is a gas tight combustion product heat exchanger (2), whose output is connected by a connecting pipe (8) of heat-exchanging medium with the preheating heat exchanger (3) of the combustion media to the input of the air heater (1).<IMAGE>
